Concerns about the quality of UK housing stock is on the rise, according to data collected by HomeOwners Alliance.
The data comes from a YouGov survey, conducted on behalf of HomeOwners Alliance, which polled 2,000 UK adults.
The figures show that 63 per cent of UK adults believe the lack of quality in housing stock is a serious concern, up from 57 per cent recorded in 2018.
The alliance reports that 69 per cent of those living in rented accommodation report serious concerns with housing stock quality.
HomeOwners Alliance chief executive Paula Higgins comments: “It is shocking that in a country that is a leading world economy that so many people have serious concerns about the quality of our old and new housing stock, whether they are renting or are owner occupiers.
“We need more decent housing for more of us.”
