Iress has launched the next generation of its Xplan client for mortgage brokers, including a client facing portal.
Last week Mortgage Solutions exclusively revealed that the latest version of Xplan Mortgage will include an eligibility check for multiple lenders in one go.
It conducts an Experian soft credit check for applicants potentially offering greater certainty earlier in the advice process.
Xplan said the new release of the mortgage client portal offers a secure and efficient communication platform.
It also allows the sharing of documents between the broker and client in real time to speed up the mortgage application process.
From launch the client portal offers:
- Secure messages and documents – two-way sharing of documents, and a mobile optimised experience for use on-the-go;
- Digital signatures – electronic signing of documents by one or more parties, enabling speedy and straightforward document signing in line with consumer expectations;
- A range of templated website designs – small and large businesses alike can easily align their client portal to their own brand.
Iress executive general manager, product, UK Andrew Simon said the firm recognised that mortgage brokers want to deliver a professional and personalised digital experience to their clients.
“Our new client portal provides a secure and straight-forward way for advisers and their clients to engage and communicate with each other 24/7 and can be delivered at scale and with ease,” he said.
“We are innovating to remove inefficiency and frustration in the end-to-end mortgage journey. “Simply being able to take a photo of a payslip or utility bill, upload the picture to your client portal and send it securely to your adviser removes some of the process pain points of sharing documents during a mortgage application.”
