Beneficial Life mortgage network has agreed a three-year partnership with Iress which will see the technology firm’s mortgage and protection sourcing system rolled out to member advisers.
The XPlan Mortgage system allows brokers to generate a protection quote at the same time as a mortgage quote, which.
It argues this helps brokers to deliver a fully rounded advice service, as well as cutting out the need for rekeying information between different sourcing systems.
Beneficial Life, which has 170 advisers and has stated it is aiming to “substantially increase” both appointed representative and directly authorised numbers across the network, said the option of offering brokers a single sales process was key in the decision.
XPlan Mortgage will be integrated into the network’s CRM system eKeeper.
Jason McDonald, director at Beneficial Life, said having the right technology in place is central to its business model and meeting its objectives.
He continued: “Throughout the selection process, Iress has demonstrated its understanding of our requirements and clearly has the technology capability to support our business as it grows.”
Dave Miller, general executive manager – commercial at Iress, added: “The network identified the key to profitable growth is in the provision of quality service and support to its adviser members.
“Having the right technology underpinning this is vital, delivering connectivity, reliability and better access to a wide variety of accurate mortgage and protection data.”
